Three student nurses join Nata clinic

L to R Isaac Geweld, Mmoloki Mobita and Uyapooteng Pheko, student nurses.JPG
Originally uploaded by natavillage.

Every year from August to December, Nata Clinic receives three student nurses from the nursing school in Francistown. Last year we had three ladies so this year we get three young men. During their four month stay in Nata they must organize three community projects and write a needs assessment of the community. This is there first opportunity to work directly with patients. They have been schooling for nearly two years in the classroom so they are definitely ready for direct patient care. They will be consulting with patients, taking blood pressures, temperatures, giving injections and shadowing our Dr. Roger. So Isaac, Mmoloki, and Uyapooteng, welcome to Nata!
