New billboard in Nata

The Ministry of Health's PMTCT program has rolled out another campaign to
help in the fight of HIV/AIDS. They are encouraging men to test with their
partners. Overall, men are dying at a faster rate than women as they are
not testing and taking ARV's at the same rate as women. In the past, the
PMTCT (prevention of mother to child transmission) program has been geared
to women. The new campaign is encouraging the fathers to get tested along
with their pregnant partners. They are also asking the men to encourage
their positive partners to breastfeed and complete the PMTCT program. We
hope this new campaign will have an impact in Nata.
