Northgate Lodge staff was treated to a First Aid/HIV class. Instructor MaKenneth explained the importance of using gloves when treating an injured person. The staff learned how to attend to deep cuts on the body and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd degree burns. MaKenneth also explained how serious the HIV virus is in their community. The goal is to educate the community and show them how to attend to any emergencies.
Children in Botswana culture start learning how to be productive and hard working citizens at an early age. The children start doing house and cattle post chores before and after school. For example, collecting water from the stand pipe to mix with sand and make mud bricks for their adobe homes. Furthermore, children follow their parents to the cattle post and help gather their animals.
Nata Prtimary School has no problem accommodating students in their facility. Because of the growing population in Nata, more young children are registering for Primary School. Teachers make sure that no child is left behind by creating classes outside the classrooms. Education is very important to all the children of Nata.
Nata Primary School has a unique boys and girls volleyball team. This weekend they will compete with nineteen other schools from around the district. Nata Primary School took first place last year in their division. The sixteen person team has been practicing very hard every day after school. Nata is the team to beat on this tournament. Also, the team is looking for a sponsor to help them with new uniforms.

Tebelopele put on a week long work shop for the surrounding communities to attend. The work shop included Basic facts about HIV/AIDS, Progression of HIV infections in the body, Opportunistic infections, Reducing stress, Adherence, and Nutrition. The training was an excellen learning experience for eveyone.
| Every month PMTCT support group gives a health talk to all the patients visiting the clinic. Once a week the staff at Nata clinic give a talk on various health topics concerning the community. This particular morning two staff members are educating the patients on how to use both male and female condoms. |

Nata Primary School night watchman has a unique way of waking up the school's staff and the surrounding tenets with in a mile radius. This old truck rim is the school's bell for the students at Nata Primary School. The night watchmans job is to hit the rim five times in the early morning 5:00 am, the five dongs will wake up the school staff living in the community. The students hear the first five dongs and have an hour and a half to get ready for class.
Tebelopele put together a two day work shop on Community Peer Counseling for anybody in the local community to attend. Thirty participants from Natavillage, Maposa, Sepako, Sowa Town, and Manxotae fully attended the work shop. The work shop instructors encouraged yound adults to educate their community on HIV/AIDS and behavioral change. The group also learned counseling techniques when speaking with someone who is HIV positive, as well as family support.
The Department of Tourism and Natavillage planned and hosted Tourism Day 2008 in Nata. Over 5000+ participated in this awesome special event. The day started by enjoying a wonderful guided tour of Nata Sanctuary for everyone to enjoy. After the guided tour everyone met at Nata Primary School Football Grounds to view displays of all the beautiful attractions and culture crafts Botswana has to offer. Furthermore, everyone was treated to a culture night at the Kgotla where poems were read and traditional dancing took our breath away.
