Mr. Seloma Tiro is the chairman of the Nata AIDS and Orphan Trust which manages the funds that are raised from this website.  Written below are some of his thoughts on the blog and the people who have helped to make it happen.  Thanks Mr. Tiro for your generosity and your kind words.  Mr. Tiro writes:

*Nata AIDS and Orphan Trust*

Thanks to God we are now registered and this shall relate well with our donors.  The time we took to register and duties already executed to the community make an appraisal inevitable. So, to the noble people behind driving a wagon of help I would like to make reference to them as follows:

*Nata village people and village tribal administration*

Thanks to the community of Nata village and the village chief for allowing the website personnel to interact with the community in a bid to help people affected by HIV/AIDS as well as the 400 orphans in the village.  I wish to express my warm appreciation to the international community who have responded positively to the plea to help the people of Nata village.

*USA Peace Corps Programme*

Whereas the U.S.A has rolled out several assistance programmes to needy countries, the Peace Corps programme has been one of the most helpful. Peace Corps has come out as unique, relevant, accurate, helping and above all portraying an excellent image of the U.S. government and its people.

Nata Village has not only been blessed by the spirit and objectives of this noble organisation, the sending of Melody Jenkins to this village filled our hearts with immeasurable happiness.  Villagers could not believe that 'lekgoa' (white person) could interact with them socially, show love and affection to them, sympathise with them and devote all her time helping them fight HIV/ AIDS.  Melody is nothing less than Mother Theresa of Nata Village.  Your ideas and the love you have shown our community can never be forgotten.  Your technical advice to our board to have a website for fundraising for orphans and people affected by HIV/AIDS has been invaluable and today we now have the capability to help.  I congratulate you Melody Jenkins, you are a true representative of the U.S.A.  God bless you.

Jon, very few people can agree to disrupt their journey and tight schedule and decide to give a hearing to people of a village terrorised by HIV/AIDS.  You have listened to us, helped us and because of you we would not be having a website.  I am going to move at the next board meeting that we send you a live cow and if it is too big for the aircraft a goat shall come your way alive.  A million thanks for establishing the website.
